In a small study of 98 women published today, the little blue pill helped women whose sexual performance had flagged as a side effect of taking antidepressants, known as SSRIs -- a very specific finding that could open a new use for the male impotence drug.


My thoughts:
 We have way too many women being prescribed anti-depressant or SSRI's. Women are going in to their doctor with hot flashes, night sweats, moodiness, etc. and instead of getting to the root of the problem which is usually a hormonal imbalance, they put a quick bandaide on it by prescribing an antidepressent.
 Not only are there debilitating sexual side effects but many women have a very difficult time weaning off of the antidepressant with such side effects that they go back on it.
